Peninsula Pelješac is best known by its wine, or better yet – grapes. From Plavac Mali and Dingac the winemakers can make a lot of varieties of wine. The winyard area in Peljesac can’t be found anywhere else in Croatia, because of its specific geographical location – the nearness of the sea and the hills makes the red wine taste special. The two greatest wineries there – Skaramuča Wines and Matuško Wine – each have their own story about their production of wine. So let’s us hear them…
